I just wanted to relate to you what an absolutely wonderful experience we had working with Lynn Feuerman on the sale of our house at 7615 Steeplechase Drive in Steeplechase in Palm Beach Gardens.
In my view, Lynn is a force of nature in real estate sales. I have worked with several agents over the years and the results she produced in this instance were so far above my expectations that there is hardly a way to describe it.
I know you are aware of the basic facts of the situation, but just to highlight them, I will restate what happened.
Our listing had absolutely languished for almost a year when I first spoke to Lynn about the listing. She was aware of the listing and immediately had some very helpful suggestions about how better to market the property. When the listing got close to expiring, and it became clear that we weren’t going to get anything near the fair value of our home, we agreed to give her the listing. At this point a total whirlwind of activity, which clearly had not existed up to this point, began to occur. First, she truly understood the value and uniqueness of our property. She spent a tremendous amount of time at the house with my wife making excellent suggestions about how we could, for really fairly minimal costs, improve the attractiveness of the house. Further, she helped us negotiate these services (e.g. painting, fixtures, landscaping etc.) so that our costs were minimized. At the end of a very short period of time, the house had been transformed into the type of product that really did it justice.
Once this was done, the marketing was phenomenal. Bottom line – we had an offer more than $100,000 above the best we’d seen, with no financing and no inspection – truly a coup – in less than three weeks from when the listing went active. Proceeding to closing was a painless experience, we closed and couldn’t be more delighted. I have subsequently referred her to anyone I meet trying to sell a property, because I know she’ll replicate our experience for anyone who is smart enough to hire her. This was the best experience I’ve ever had in real estate, and she deserves all the credit for it.
